Start Outlook and click the ‘Tools’ menu option at the top of the screen and select ‘Account Settings…’.
Make sure that your account is highlighted and click the ‘Change…’ button.
Click the ‘More settings…’ button in the bottom right of the screen.
Click the ‘Advanced’ tab and under ‘Incoming server (POP3)’ tick the box for ‘This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)’. Ensure that the port number changes to ’995′. Click ‘OK’.
This will bring you back to the ‘Account settings’ screen. Click ‘Test Account Settings…’.
