Home > Customer area > Guide to accessing power monitoring data for colocation customers

It is now possible to view a graphical representation of your equipment’s power consumption.

Once logged into the customer area, select “Services” then click “Summary List” for the relevent colocation service.

Click the [ **power usage** ] link to access the power graph interface.

The power graph interface consists of two pull down menus, a refresh button, and a download csv button:

The data dropdown menu allows the user to choose from either aggregate data for the entire contract or for individual pdus.

For any graph view, where there is no data there will be no point on the graph. In cases where there is no data for a given time period this will be stated in the graph and no line will be drawn, while in cases where there is other valid data during the selected time period, the line will contain breaks corresponding to the missing data.

**Weekly Graph View**

Week graphs show the power readings taken every 15 minutes over the course of the current week for both current and KWH measurements.

The y axis displays the power readings and is scaled to the nearest 0.1A or 1KWH.

The x axis is segregated by days containing 96 data points each (1 reading every 15 minutes)

**Monthly Graph View**

Month graphs show the max min and avg power readings every day over the course of the current month for current measurements and power readings every day over the course of the current month for kwh measurements.

The y axis displays the power readings and is scaled to the nearest 0.1A or 10KWH.

The x axis displays days of the month containing 1 data point each.

**Annual Graph View**

Year graphs show the max min and avg power readings every month over the course of the current year for current measurements and power readings every month over the course of the current year for kwh measurements.

The x axis displays the power readings and is scaled to the nearest 0.1A or 10KWH.

The y axis displays months of the year containing 1 data point each.

**Billing Graph View**

Billing graphs show the billed power readings every month over the course of the current year.

The x axis displays the power readings and is scaled to the nearest 0.1A or 10KWH.

The y axis displays months of the year containing 1 data point each.

**CO2 Graph View**

CO2 graphs show the CO2 equivalent readings every month over the course of the current year.

The x axis displays the CO2 equivalent and is scaled to the nearest 1kg.

The y axis displays months of the year containing 1 data point each.

For each of the graph types listed above, users can view data further back in time by clicking the arrows either side of the graph.

Where an arrow does not appear there is no data to be viewed in that direction.

N.B. A given PDU will be measured in either Amps or KWH never both; customers will not be

able to see graphs for both KWH and Amps.
